TO:Iowa State Fair 4-H Repaired/ Restored Tractor Exhibitors

(Class 10616)

Congratulations! YOU have the opportunity to be involved in a conference judging evaluation of your tractor exhibit at the 2018 Iowa State Fair. All State Fair exhibitors with a repaired/ restoredtractor exhibit (class 10616) are invited to participate in a conference evaluation of your exhibit during exhibit entry day, Monday, August 6, 2018 from 4 PM – 6:30 PM, or Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

The conference will be similar to your conference judging experience at the county fair. You will have the opportunity to talk with and discuss the restoration and repair of your tractor with one of the judges. The evaluation will take place at the time of exhibit entry. You should plan to arrive with your exhibit at the time scheduled for entry of other exhibits from your county. Check with your county Extension office for the designated entry time.

If you do not desire a conference evaluation, your exhibit will be entered, evaluated, and will be on display throughout the Iowa State Fair, August 9-19, 2018.

As August 6 and 7are prior to the opening day of the Iowa State Fair, you will need a gate pass, available from your county Extension office. Enter the fairgrounds at Gate 9. To be sure we have a judge available during your entry time, submit the attached form if you desire to participate in conference evaluation of your tractor exhibit.
