TheMalta Scrabble Club in coordination with theMalta Tourism Board, Scott’s Supermarkets and Dell Computers, ispleased to announce the 3rd Malta International Scrabble Open Tournament – MISO 2010, being held on the 14th-16th May 2010.
The 2nd European Open Tournament (36 Games) is also being held in Malta from the 8th till the 11th May 2010 so why not benefit from a Scrabble Bonanza. One flight, two back to back Wespa, Malta and ABSP Rated Tournaments, attractive accommodation prices and a couple of days between tournaments for relaxation and sightseeing at the best time of the year!! Daytime temperatures in May arenormally around 20/25ºC.

The Suncrest Hotel is a Four-Star Hotel and is the largest Hotel in Malta. All rooms enjoy private bathrooms and large balconies, and are equipped with A/C, hair dryer and Satellite TV. There is a 42m Swimming pool as well as two children’s pools and a leisure and fitness centre.

Fontes Swiss pairings will be used for games 1-12. Games 13 -18 will be on a refreshed Swiss system, ie there may be one repeat opponent, Games 19 and 20 will be strict KOTH. There will be no repeats in games 2-12, or in games 13-18. 5-point Penalty challenge will be applied
The organizers reserve the right to refuse an entry.
