Special Information, Exposure/Protection

The extent to which the following recommendations for exposure control and protection are observed should depend on the risk assessment undertaken for the specific conditions under which this product is used, including occupational hygiene measurements.

Recommended Ventilation

Use with appropriate local exhaust ventilation. Provide ventilated enclosure for heat curing. Curing enclosures must be exhausted to outdoors or to a suitable emission control device. Provide sufficient ventilation to maintain emissions well below exposure standards. If ventilation is not adequate, use appropriate respiratory protection.

Eye Protection

Select and use eye protection in accordance with AS/NZS 1336. Eye protection should comply with the performance specifications of

Avoid breathing of vapours. Conduct air monitoring to determine adequacy of ventilation. A cartridge/respirator change-out schedule

------

Must be established based on vapour concentrations and use conditions, check with respirator manufacture and consult an Industrial

Hygienist. One of the following respirators may be used: half-mask organic vapour respirator, full face organic vapour respirator.

Select and use respirators according to AS/NZS 1715. Respirators should comply with AS/NZS 1716 performance specifications. For information about respirators, call 3M on 1800 024 464.
