Explanatory notes
1All tasks are to be carried out in accordance with enterprise procedures, the enterprise being the organisation carrying out the work. Enterprise procedures referred to in this unit standard are the applicable procedures found in the following:enterprise exposition; manufacturer publications; Government and local body legislation; airworthiness authority requirements.
2The scope of the system that this standard relates to is described in the applicable chapters of ATA iSpec 2200.
3Evidence for evidence requirement 2.3 may be gathered under simulated conditions.

Outcome 1
Prepare to replenish aircraft gaseous oxygen systems.
Evidence requirements
1.1Task is determined by reviewing maintenance documentation.
1.2Resources are obtained and checked for serviceability or status in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangepublications, tools, replenishment equipment and medium, safety equipment.
1.3Aircraft registration and system to be replenished are matched with documentation.
1.4Suitability of environmental conditions to carry out the replenishment task is checked in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangemay include but is not limited to – precipitation, lightning, airborne debris.
1.5Aircraft, system, and area are prepared for replenishment in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangeaircraft positioned, clearances obtained, isolation tags fitted, warning signs positioned, ground equipment and safety equipment positioned, ignition sources eliminated, equipment bonded and/or earthed, non-essential systems switched off.
1.6Any defects are reported and documented in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Outcome 2
Replenish gaseous oxygen systems.
Evidence requirements
2.1Replenishment medium, container, and equipment are matched with system to be replenished in accordance with enterprise procedures.
2.2System is replenished in accordance with enterprise procedures.
2.3Initial action to be taken in an abnormal situation is demonstrated in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangemay include but is not limited to – fire, leakage, contamination of equipment.
Outcome 3
Complete the activities related to the replenishment of gaseous oxygen systems.
Evidence requirements
3.1Completion activities specific to the task and work area are carried out in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangeactivities may include but are not limited to – tool control, cleanliness, tidiness, return of publications, preparation for next activity.
3.2Resources are checked for serviceability and returned to service or storage in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangetools, equipment, safety equipment.
3.3Leftover materials are disposed of in accordance with enterprise procedures.
Rangeserviceable, unserviceable, surplus, waste, scrap, hazardous.
3.4Documentation is completed in accordance with enterprise procedures.
