Terms and Conditions

I hereby authorize the above repair work to be done along with the necessary materials and hereby grant you and/or your employees permission to operate the vessel as necessary for the purpose of testing and/or inspection.
An express Mechanic’s Lien is hereby acknowledged on the above vessel to secure the amount repairs. Full amount of repairs (parts and labor) must be paid in full prior to the vessel launching by Mermaid’s Cove Service and is due upon completion of work. If for any reason payment in full is not made upon completion of work, I agree that Mermaid’s Cove Marina LLC may charge the full balance to the credit card listed on this work order. I agree to be responsible for all changes incurred unless coverage is obtained from the manufacturer or extended warranty provider. $25 dollar per month late fee on all outstanding balances after 30 days.
I agree that Mermaid’s Cove Marina LLC is not responsible for any loss or damage to the vessel(s) and/or contents in case of fire, theft, vandalism, or any other cause beyond its control.
The undersigned customer authorizes the above work to be done, along with the necessary materials, and hereby grants Mermaid’s Cove Service LLC and its employees permission to operate the boat or engine for the purpose of testing and/of inspection.
Mermaid’s Cove Service is not responsible for loss or damage to articles left on boat.
Mermaid’s Cove Service is not responsible for fire, weather, theft of or damage to your boat while on our property, including canvas tops and enclosures, whether caused by acts of nature, or negligent or unwillful damage by marina employees or customers.
Boat Relocation: Owner consents and agrees that the boat yard may move owner’s boat to a different location, berth, or mooring, in the normal course of the boatyard’s business as may be considered necessary. Particularly in the event of inclimate weather such as an impending hurricane.
Launches will be schedule on a “week of” basis. We will not guarantee any date or time for a launch.
Insurance: Owner will obtain and pay for general comprehensive public liability insurance insuring MMS as additional named insured and the owner against loss from liability for damaged on account of loss or injury suffered by any person or property within or upon the boat yard, the coverage and protection of such insurance to be in the amount of $1,000,000.00 per incident. Owner agrees to provide MMS with a certificate of insurance and copy of insurance policy confirming the coverage.
Bottom painting must be performed by Mermaid’s Cove Service personnel or a contractor who hold $2,000,000.00 insurance only. No customers are permitted to bottom paint.
Mermaid’s Cove Service will not be held responsible for damages to canvas left at the marina.
I agree to abide by the above terms and conditions and request the above services.
Parts supplied by owner for installation by Mermaid’s Cove have no warranty/guarantee from Mermaid’s Cove.
Posted labor rates apply on all hourly charges. 2016 hourly labor charge $115.00 per hour. Some seasonal work may be quoted as flat rate jobs, which include parts and labor.
Mermaid’s Cove Marina LLC shall be held harmless for all delays in delivery of said vessel due to availability of parts, delivery of parts, weather conditions and all other circumstances beyond its control.
