DECLARATION:
I, the Team Manager of the Team registered in the 35th Singapore River Regatta 2017, acknowledge and am fully aware of the responsibilities and implications of the following: -
1. Back-to-Back races are possible and it is incumbent upon me, my team members and/or any other agent appointed by me to manage/look after my team on Race Day, to ensure that my team shall consist of sufficient number of athletes (paddlers + drummer + steersperson + reserves) for all the races that we have been registered for.
2. The Race Organizers will not allow for waiting time or concession to allow a team that has back to-back races to be ready for their next event. Upon the expiry of the prescribed calling time and my team is still not ready, the Chief Boat Marshall will declare my team as a ‘no show’ and will advise the Chief Starter to start the race without us.
3. In the event of any occurrence as described in Item 2, I understand that my team will be listed as “DID NOT START” and we will forfeit progression to the next level.
4. I may register my Team in any number of race categories but the participating crew (paddlers + steersperson + drummer + reserves), must be unique and cannot be “double-registered” underdifferent categories. I understand the exemptions made for: -
a. students representing their schools/institutions may represent both their schools and club teams provided both are participating in different categories
b. employees representing both their employers (corporations, government institutions, statutory boards, etc) and club teams are participating in different categories
