CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR

PROOF READING, DESIGN, LAYOUT AND PRINTING OF

ANNUAL REPORT 2016/17

MAY 2017

1.  Purpose

The purpose of this document is to solicit proposals for the proof reading, design and layout, and printing of the Revised South African Human Rights Commission’s Final SAHRC Annual Report 2016-17.

2.  Background

The SAHRC is a Chapter 9 Institution, established in terms of Section 184 of the Constitution, mandated to promote, protect and monitor observance of human rights in South Africa.

3.  Scope of Work

The scope of work envisaged for this project includes:

3.1 Proof reading, design and layout, and printing of the Annual Report 2016/17

3.3 An estimated number of copies and pages as follow:

a)  500 copies of the Annual Report 2016/17, with approximately 150 pages (To be printed in MS Word A4 size format)

4. Expected Output

The expected output is professionally laid out and well-designed SAHRC Annual report 2016/17 for utilization by oversight institutions such as Parliament, the Auditor General, National Treasury, other professional stakeholders and the general public.

The service provider must be able to deliver quality documents within stipulated timeframes and conditions that will be further discussed upon appointment.

5. Expertise Required

The Commission requires the services of an experienced service provider with expertise in proof reading, design and layout, and printing of The SAHRC Annual report 2016/17.

6. Timeframes

The SAHRC is working to very tight deadlines, with the final delivery date for the main Annual report 2016/17 document to be negotiated with the successful service provider. As such we request proposals, with detailed estimated cost breakdown, to be submitted by 03 June 2017.
