Senior Software Engineer (1999 – 2003)

  • Designed, coded and tested Advanced Provisioning Manager project. Application provided real-time order management, fulfillment, service activation, and fault management for a broadband and voice network. Utilized UNIX/C++, Java, Corba, Sun/Solaris.
  • Developed, designed, coded, and tested embedded web application used as the primary user interface for DSL routers and Integrated Access Devices (IADs). Accessed low-level firmware in order to configure the device, obtain data and present information to user. Utilized Visual C++/MFC, C, EmWeb (embedded web server), HTML, Java, JavaScript, Gnu/Gmake.

Interactive Business Systems, Irving, Texas (1998)

  • Designed, developed, coded and integrated two applications within database system that tracks domestic and foreign currency as it is printed and packaged. First application allowed user to edit the status of entities stored in the database, replace individual bills, and remove records from the database. Second application “rolled out” uncommitted entities at the end of shift as well as “rolled in” entities at the beginning of shift. Both applications notified Master Control Program of database change when completed via socket. Utilized Visual C++/MFC, Oracle, SQL, ODBC, sockets, threads, and TCP/IP.

  • Designed, coded and tested telco related report generators and utilities used for prison phone systems. Utilities formatted CDR (Call Detail Record) files into human-readable and machine-readable reports. Developed IVR application using Visual Basic, ActiveX controls, and Visual Voice toolkit.
