Outcome 1

Develop a plan for improving productivity in a workplace as a union representative.

Evidence requirements

1.1Low productivity is described in terms of its impact on the workplace, industry and/or sector, and the nation.

1.2The benefits for employees from improving productivityare described in terms of job stability, job satisfaction, income, and workplace relations.

1.3The seven drivers of productivity are identified and described in terms of their potential contribution to productive workplaces.

1.4An action plan is developed for productivity improvement in a workplace.

Rangeplan includes –ways to work with management, an action timeline, key areas for improvement, a systematic approach.
