Now that you have read lesson 2,03, you will choose ONE assessment to complete.

If you choose option 1/This is it, your work will focus on the information you learned in lesson 2.01.

If you choose option 2/Speak with Good Purpose, you will focus on the information you learned in lesson 2.02.

If you choose option 3/The Affinity Process, your work will focus on the information you learned in lesson 2.03.

You may use this work plan to complete OPTION 3: The Affinity Process.

This assessment has 3 parts. Be sure to check the grading rubric and the instructions link on page 8 in the lesson.

Part 1: Complete the Affinity Process
Choose 3 people and complete the Affinity Process with them. They can be family members, friends, or someone you just recently met. Include all 3 statements of the Affinity Process for each person.

Part 2: Reflection
In 6-8 complete sentences, answer these questions: How did it feel to complete the activity? How did it feel to be the person asking the questions? How did it feel to be the person answering the questions? What other situations could you use the Affinity Process with?

Part 3: Present Your Learning
Options for your presentation can include a video you create with someone, a voice thread you create, a presentation with audio, or a word processing document script. Your finished product should look similar to the video or script from the lesson.

If you make a video of your work, attach it to your assessment. You can also write out your 3 scripts here like the example we gave you in the Help Site. Your finished product should look similar to the video or script from the lesson.

When you are finished, you will need to submit the assessment to your teacher for grading. You will go to ASSESSMENTS and click on 2.03. You may attach your completed document or copy/paste the work and put it in the Student Comment box.
