Pray before any statue of Our Lady of Fatima

2017 marks the100th anniversary of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to 3 shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal.

As part of the Jubilee Year, the Holy Father has granted the opportunity for the Catholic faithful to obtain a plenary indulgence under the normal conditions (detachment from sin, confession, communion, and prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father)and meeting the following sets of conditions:

For the “the pious faithful who visit with devotion a statue of Our Lady of Fatima. Solemnly exposed for public veneration in any church, oratory or proper place during the days of the anniversary of the apparitions, the 13th of each month from May to October (2017), and there devoutly participate in some celebration or prayer in honor of the Virgin Mary”.

Saturday, May 13th:

Marian Concentration, 9 a.m. Mass. Rosary will be recited before mass at 8:10. The Blessed Mother statue will be placed in the church on the anniversary days of apparitions May through October.

The rosary will be recited at the outdoor statue as a public veneration during the days of the anniversary of the apparition and devoutly participate in celebration of prayer in honor of the Virgin Mary. Below is a list of dates and ministries and/or group organization that we would like to be present at designated dates and time to this devotion to Mary.

Tuesday, June 13 at 6 p.m.:

Participants are listed to represent the ministries that serve our church, however all members of our Christian community are asked and invited to recite the rosary each month in honor of Mary, Our Blessed Mother.
