A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE HASELDEN BROTHERS FORD OF HEMINGWAY ON WINNING THE 2015 PRESIDENT’S AWARD BY FORD MOTOR COMPANY.

Whereas, Haselden Brothers Ford of Hemingway is among an elite group of Ford and Lincoln dealerships to be recognized with the 2015 President’s Award by Ford Motor Company. Established in 1998, the prestigious award honors top-performing dealerships that have excelled in automotive retailing by achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Dealers become eligible through survey responses from customers related to their sales and service satisfaction; and

Whereas, Haselden Brothers Ford was founded in 1938 by Willis Clarence and Ed Haselden and has been family owned and operated for over seventy-five years; and

Whereas, Haselden Brothers is a ten-time recipient of the President’s Award, the only dealer in South Carolina to have achieved this status; and

Whereas, Bubba Haselden, the owner of Haselden Ford, attributes the award to the entire staff’s commitment to delivering the best customer experience possible and to their passion, tenacity, and hard work. The President’s Award reflects how Haselden Brothers exceeds customer expectations every day in every department; and

Whereas, Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader based in Dearborn, Michigan, manufactures and distributes automobiles across six continents, with approximately one hundred sixty-four thousand employees and seventy plants worldwide. The company’s automotive brands include Ford and Lincoln; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate appreciate the pride and recognition that Haselden Brothers Ford of Hemingway has brought to the State of South Carolina through the dealership’s faithful service to its community. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Haselden Brothers Ford of Hemingway on winning the 2015 President’s Award by Ford Motor Company.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Bubba Haselden.
