2017-18 Important Dates

All Concerts are in the SLHS auditorium and begin at 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted.

All rehearsals and concerts are mandatory and attendance will be graded.

Report times are 1 hour prior to performance times.

September 1st*Pep Band for Home Football Game, NAAC, 4:00 pm

September 4th*Jog in the Bog “National Anthem” Performance, 8:00 am

September 8th Homecoming Rally, during the school day

September 8th*Pep Band for Homecoming Football Game, NAAC, 7:00 pm

October 12th*Pep Band for Home Football Game, NAAC, 6:00 pm

October 20th*Pep Band for Home Football Game, NAAC, 4:00 pm

November 2nd Band Concert, 7:00 pm

November 3rd*Pep Band for Home Football Game, NAAC, 7:30 pm

November 4th - 5th*Craft Fair, all day

November 9th-10th *Jeff 10 Honor Band, for selected students only

November 15th*All County Honor Band & Jazz Auditions, 4-5:30 pm, Bear Creek HS

December 14thCollage Concert Dress Rehearsal, 3:30-6:00 pm

December 15thCollage Concert, 7:00 pm

January 16th*All County Honor Band, 5:00-8:30 pm, DRHS, for selected students only

April 4thSLHS Area Band Festival, 7:00 pm, SLHS Gym

April 10th*All County Jazz Sectionals, GMHS, for selected students only

April 12th*All County Jazz, all day, concert at 7:00 pm, for selected students only

April 26thBand Concert, 7:00 pm

May 17th GRADUATION, 3-10pm (dinner provided), 1st Bank Center

*Other performance opportunities may arise, and you will be notified of them in writing at least 2 weeks in advance. Signature Jazz members especially should anticipate at least 4 more events throughout the school year whose details have not yet been planned.
