<Application process & conditions

Please be careful with your booking number.

Once the payment is received, the booking number CANNOT be changed and NO refunds can be issued.

1.  Submit the application form

Please send the completed form with your signature as a scanned attachment to by the applicable state deadline.

§  Each student ticket is $8.00.

§  Each school may book up to 50 tickets including teachers/helpers tickets.

§  1 teacher will be given a free ticket with 1-24 students booking.

2 teachers will be given free tickets with 25-49 students booking.

Other teachers/helpers must pay $8.00 per person.

§  Allocated seating will be arranged on the screening day. No actual tickets will be issued prior of the screening day.

2.  Receive the invoice

Once we have received your application, we will send you the invoice by email.

If you don’t hear form us after 7days, please contact us on to confirm.

3.  Pay the cost

Choose your payment option and pay by the deadline as below. Please note that the payment is necessary to finalise your booking. Failure to make payment will result in the cancellation of your booking.

5.  Confirmation

Once your payment is finalised, your booking is completed. You will be notified of this and receive a Unit of work for the film.

6.  On the screening day

l  Please note that food and drinks purchased outside the cinema cannot be brought in.

l  We request that all groups arrive at the venue no later than 9:45am.

l  Screenings begin at 10:00am sharp and will finish at 12:45pm

l  We strictly DO NOT accept extra participants on the day without prior booking. All seats for each school are allocated beforehand and cannot be changed on the day.

l  Before entering the theatre, please tell your school name and number of students to Japan Foundation staff at the door. You will receive the tickets and feedback sheets.

l  To assist with handling large numbers of students, all groups are asked to stay for the duration of the screening.

l  At the end of the screening, please hand over your completed feedback sheets to Japan Foundation staff at the door.
