Please note year as: Freshman: FR (Less than 28 credits), Sophomore: SP (28-55 credits), Junior: JR(56-85 credits), Senior: SR (86 and above), Graduate Student: GR (masters and phd), or Transfer student TR. Please go by what you will be starting FALL 2016.So if you are going to be a junior, it would be “Doe_Jane_JR”, NOT “Doe_Jane_2016.”
This application is for ALL School of Packaging Scholarships (except Study Abroad scholarships) for the 2016-2017 academic year. It also gets sent to the Packaging Alumni Association for their Spring scholarships.
This application is due by 11:59pm on August 15th. No late submissions, or misnamed files, will be accepted!

Submit a two to threepage essay including BOTH what drew you to packaging as a major and career choice, and an example of a specific packaging problem and how you would solve it. This can be a systemic problem in the packaging industry, or a problem with a specific product you have seen. There is not a “right or wrong” answer, but the committee will look at your creativity and critical thinking/problem solving skills.
