2016-17Ag Booster Club Scholarship Program
Guidelines:
Dalhart Ag Booster Club will be awarding multiple scholarshipsvarying indifferent amount increments to deserving Dalhart High School Seniors for the 2016-17 school year. These scholarships are a one-time award for graduating seniors, and will be awarded depending on the number of qualified applicants at the discretion of the Dalhart Ag Booster Club.
- Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and plan on pursuing a degree at either a 2-4 year college or 2-year technical/vocational school.
- Applicants must have been enrolled in a Dalhart Vocational Agriculture class at least 2 of the 4 years in high school and be an active member of the Dalhart High School FFA Chapter.
- Applicants will be selected on the following criteria:
Academics
Extra-curricular Involvement
Leadership
Community Service
Participation in Dalhart FFA LDE, CDE, and SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) programs
Must have received their Chapter FFA Degree
Financial need
- Scholarship application and essay deadline is April 1, 2017. Interview times will be set up after deadline submission and will be concluded before April 30, 2017.
- Scholarship award will be presented during the annual FFA Banquet in May.
- Scholarship funds will be paid in December2017 for the second semester of the student’s first yeardirectly to the college and not to the student. It will be the student’s responsibility to submit to the Dalhart FFA Booster Club at that time an invoice for second semester tuition and fees, student ID number and college information.

- 3Letters of Recommendation – 1 of each: Agricultural Instructor, Educator, and Professional
- Interview
