2015 Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Primary Schools’ Art Competition
Rules and conditions of entry:
- The competition is open to all Primary School-aged pupils in the Perth Kinross area.
- There are three categories of the competition:Primaries 1-3; 4-5; 6-7.
- Entrants may only submit one piece of art into the competition each.
- Entries can be received at either of the addresses below and must be submitted by Friday, 30th October at 3.30 p.m. Entries will not be accepted at either address after this time.
- Each entry must be accompanied by the name, school and age category of the artist and a contact address/telephone number.
- The entries will be judged by a panel of judges. One winner, one runner-up and commended entries from each category will be chosen from which an overall winner will be decided.
- The judges’ decision is final and no cash alternatives will be given.
- All winners, runners-up and commended entries will receive a certificate, art equipment and/or other prizes. The overall winner will also claim:
- A day as guests of LivingWell Hilton Dunkeld House for his/her class to enjoy a day of activities.
- The Michael Wolfe-Murray perpetual trophy for his/her school to retain until the prizegiving of the following year’s competition before which it must be returned to GWCT.
- A place on a Julian Jardine art workshop.
- His/her design may also be used in GWCT publications and on merchandise to be sold in aid of the GWCT which is a charity.
- Hilton Dunkeld Parkand Julian Jardine will host the winners on dates agreed by all parties.
- All entries will be the property of GWCT and may be used for their own promotional purposes.
- Press releases may be issued to launch the competition, announce the judging, for the prize-giving and for the winner’s day at Hilton Dunkeld Park. Press photographers will be invited to all/some of these events.
- Winners, runners-up and commended entrants will be required to attend a prize-giving on 18th November at AK Bell Library. Parents and teachers welcome to attend. Numbers of attendees to be provided to GWCT.
- Entries may be returned at the entrants own expense or can be collected from GWCT (address below) until Friday, January 30th 2016.
- An exhibition of a selection of the entries will be on public displayat AK Bell Library following the prize-giving.
