Throughout the school year, the PTO will host the following events for our students and their families. Parent volunteers are essential to the success of these events. If you are interested in helping with any of the activities listed below and on the back, please check off your interests and return this form to school. You will be contacted during the school year according to the dates noted. Items in boldface in need of committee chairs.

After School Enrichment / Sign students into programs for about 10 minutes after school. Can be as little as 1 day/week for 4 week program. Committed volunteers will receive discount on enrichment classes. / October, January, & April
Board of Education Representative / Attend monthly BOE meetings on behalf of RH PTO. Report information to PTO during regular monthly meetings or report to a PTO Board Member. / Monthly
Book Fairs / Set up, operate, and break down Book Fairs. / October & May
Book Swap / Help collect and sort books for this community service project. / February/March
Buildings and Grounds / Help maintain landscaping around school grounds. / Occasionally
Clothing Drives / Monitor collection as volunteers drop off gently used clothing. / September 28th/May 11th
Community Service / Help RH children and staff with occasional community service projects (for example: lemonade sales for Alex’s Lemonade Stand or pet supply collection for Tabby’s Place). / Throughout the year
Districtwide Color Run / Help with planning this district-wide event. A RH representative is needed. / Occasional meetings/ May 5th
End of Year Picnic / Help plan, set up, and clean up our last family event of the year! / June 7th
Family Olympics / Help with set up and clean up of this teacher-run event. / February 8th
Field Day / Help monitor Field Day activities. / May31st
Fourth Grade Activities / 4th grade parents needed to help with end of year handprints, t-shirts, and picnic. / Late May/June
Grant Writing / Find grants available for our school. Participate in writing grants. / Year-round
Halloween Fun Fair / Help with planning, set up, and monitoring fall and Halloween themed stations/games fall for this family event. / October 19
Helping Hands / Help provide assistance to RH families by collecting needed holiday gifts. / November during conferences
On Call Volunteers / Volunteers who can be contacted when additional help is needed for any school event, including baking. / Year-round
Photography / Take pictures for PTO during school events. / Year-round
School Pictures / Assist LifeTouch professional photographers with Picture Day. / Sept 28th
Sign Board / Change monthly messages of school outdoor sign board. / Monthly
Teacher Appreciation / Help thank the RH staff with daily treats during Teacher Appreciation Week! Bakers needed!
Walk-a-Thon / Help set up event. Help manage children/walk with children and their classes during event! / October 12th
