Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the 2014 South Bay Teen Driving Clinic at Mission Community College sponsored by Audi Stevens Creek and Shell V-Power!
Please take a few moments to look through this material. We've included apreliminary schedule of events, as well as directions to Mission Community Collegeand an aerial showing the location of the event in Parking Lot #A on Campus. The clinic will start promptly at 8 am and we encourage you to get there a bit early to check-in & enjoy refreshments.
The clinic is designed go far beyond what is typically taught in Drivers Education classes or a driving school. It is literally a classroom within the car. The students will spend the majority of the day behind the wheel doing a variety of driving exercises with an instructor in the car. These will be augmented with some in-class instruction covering everything from vehicle dynamics, to driving distractions such as texting while driving, to a simulated – yet actual - experience of various levels of impaired driving.
Please make sure that your car has a full tank of gas, that all the tires are in good shape and that you remove all loose items and incidentals from the inside the car and trunk. We don't want things flying around inside the car during the exercises. Also make sure that you don't wear any type of open-toed shoes or sandals that can come off while driving. The weather is generally pretty nice this time of year, although it can get windy at times, so plan accordingly. Also remember to bring some folding chairs to sit on during the day.

Getting to Mission Community College
3000 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara Parking Lot A
Hwy 101; Exit at Great America Parkway – North;first left at Mission College Blvd;
Bear right at the signal, continuing on Mission College Blvd; first left into Parking
Area A, immediately visible on the left.
Where the Clinic will be held at the College
We will be in Lot #A of the College. Please go all the way to the front of the lot next to the lawn area. Look for some pop up tents and the Audi Club trailer. Please drive safe and arrive on time.
