Rules
_____ Entries MUST include the 2015 theme – “year of the SHEEP.” Entries not meeting thisrequirement will not be judged.
_____ Each entry must include a minimum of four Chinese characters displayed in the artwork.
_____ Entries MUST be clearly labeled with the student(s)’ name(s), coach and school. Entries notmeeting this requirement will not be judged.
_____ Entries will be judged on: (1) originality of theme; (2) effectiveness of colors, words, design; (3)neatness and attractiveness; and (4) overall artistic impression.
_____ Up to three students may work on a single project, but only one prize can be awarded for each winning entry.
_____ By submitting this entry, entrant grants the Confucius Institute at Wayne State university the unconditional right to use the name, photograph and artwork in connection with any article, publicity, or press releases without further compensation.
_____ By entering, entrant agrees to contest rules and that all decisions of the judges are final.

Should he or she win the art contest, I agree to allow the submitted art to be distributed publicly.
I’m aware that the winning entry might be used by the Confucius Institute at Wayne State University for educational, academic, research, or promotionalpurposes,including publication in any medium.
I grant the Confucius Institute at Wayne State University has the unconditional right to use the name, photograph and artwork in connection with any article, publicity or press release without further compensation.
I also understand that if it is discovered that my child’s artwork is not original, the artwork will be subject to disqualification.
