2013 New Resident Benefits Online Enrollment Instructions

The enrollment deadline is 30 Days from your Date of Hire.

Employees have a convenient way to enroll in benefits on-line to make any changes during the Benefits Open Enrollment period. On-line benefits enrollment may be accessed from your Loyola work station or any computer within the network.

To begin enrollment:

Step 1:Do a CTRL Click to access Loyola Wired or go to .

Step 2:Enter your Portal information. If you do not have a portal login id and password, or are having difficulty logging on, please contact the Help Desk at X62160.

Step 3:Click on the icon Lawson icon . If you receive a “Security Warning” dialog box, choose YES. Re-enter your Portal ID and Password and click “Login”

Step 4: Click on “Employee Self Service” on the left hand side of the Lawson Portal Home page.

Step 5: Click on “Personal Information”

Step 6:Click on “Dependents” to view your assigned dependents. You must review your dependent information for accuracy before you start the enrollment process. Please note, in order to cover a dependent under your health and welfare plans, your dependent must be reflected and you must provide a marriage certificate and/or birth certificate for each covered dependent. Enrollment will not be allowed without your dependent supporting documentation.

Click add to “add” a dependent. You cannot delete a dependent BUT you will be able to exclude them when enrolling in benefits.

Step 7: Click on the “Home” tab, click on “Benefits”, and then click on “Beneficiary”. You must review your beneficiary information for accuracy and change if necessary, before you start the enrollment process.

Step 8: Click on the “Home” tab again, click on “Benefits” then Click on “New Hire Enrollment”, read the Welcome message, scroll down, then Click on “Continue”

Caution - If you click on the “Exit” button, it will exit you out of the on-line enrollment screen without saving the elections you have entered. You will not be enrolled to you get to the very end and

Step 9: You will be prompted throughout the application process to make any benefit election changes for the following plans: Medical, Dental, Vision, Legal Care and Flexible Spending Healthcare and Dependent Care Accounts. Please note, Flexible Spending Dependent Care covers expenses associated with day care expenses while you are at work. Please carefully review the provisions of Flexible Spending Accounts BEFORE enrolling.

Caution - At the end of your enrollment, carefully review your benefit selections before printing your confirmation. Once you print your 2013 elections, you will not be able to make further benefit changes through Lawson Self Service. You will need to contact the Benefits department at 708-216-9401

Step 11: Review Your Enrollment Status. Verify that all information is updated correctly. When you have completed enrollment, you may print your benefit elections.

Once you exit the system and complete your enrollment, you are finished and will not be able to re-enter or make changes. If you need to re-enter the system, please contact the Human Resources Department at (708) 216-9401.

The enrollment deadline is 30 Days from your Date of Hire.

If you do not enroll within 30-days, your next opportunity to enroll in benefits, outside of a life status change or job change will be for January 1, 2014.
