Teachers will receive in-depth professional learning on the Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES). Through this process, they will acquire an in-depth understanding of the 10 TAPS standards. Teachers will be given continual feedback throughout the year on their performance as related to these standards, which will directly impact student performance and increase achievement. / If teachers implement highly effective instructional practices, then SGPs (Student Growth Percentiles) will reflect increased student achievement. / Ongoing throughout the 2013-2014 school year. / TKES standards, exemplar videos, and fact sheets

Research has shown that schools with the greatest gains in achievement engage in professional development and implement a process for monitoring implementation of the school improvement plan. / Our professional learning plan was designed to align with our school improvement plan. Our professional learning provided teachers with practical instructional strategies and interventions to impact student achievement for students of all ability levels. /
