Marketing Team Application

Time Commitment

Shortly after the Marketing Team has been selected, the VP External Affairs will hold a training session. The date of training will be decided once the team is chosen, based on the teams’ schedule. A majority of what you will do will happen over the summer in preparation for Recruitment. However, you will be asked to participate in various marketing activities throughout the semester in order to promote Panhellenic throughout the year. A list of duties is provided below.

Applications Distributed: / Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Panhellenic Meetingin Chi Omega.
Applications Due: / Thursday, February 2nd, 5P.M.in OFSL(Sign up for an interview at this time).
Marketing Team Announced: / Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 in the Delta Delta Delta Chapter Room.

Marketing Team Qualifications

  1. Must be a full time student at USF in good standing with the University and Chapter.
  2. Must hold active status in her chapter for the duration of her office (January 2012- November 2012).
  3. Must currently have and maintain a GPA of 2.5.
  4. Must be in Tampa for most the summer.
  5. Cannot study/intern abroad during Spring, Summer, or Fall semesters of 2012.
  6. Must be able to promote an understanding of the benefits of fraternity and sorority life and emphasize the similarities, goals and ideals of all Panhellenic chapters.
  7. Must abide by the Panhellenic Constitution, Bylaws, and Recruitment Rules.

Marketing TeamDuties

  1. To help facilitate a complete evaluation of the perception of Panhellenic on campus during Spring and again following Recruitment.
  2. To work with the Vice President External Affairs, Director of Communications, and Director of Social Media for Panhellenic in order to fulfill a 365 Marketing Plan.
  3. Help pass out Panhellenic give-a-ways throughout the year and host Panhellenic events
  4. To help chalk to promote Panhellenic events, including Recruitment, throughout the year.
  5. Help flyer to promote Panhellenic events, including Recruitment, on and off-campus throughout the year.
  6. Help promote Panhellenic by working at Bull Market booths, Grey’s bookstore booths, and any other marketing booths that may be scheduled throughout the year.
  7. Assist Panhellenic with other marketing duties and opportunities as needed.
