Men’s 8000m Race11:00am
Women’s 6000m Race12:00pm
RACE COURSE:
Big Spring High School in Newville, PA
ENTRIES:
Teams are allowed to enter up to 10 athletes. All entries MUST be complete with directathletics.com by Sunday, November4, 2012 at 5:00pm. Final declarations of the 7 athletes competing will be made at the starting line prior to the race.
PACKET-PICK UP:
Friday, November 9thfrom 4:00pm until the coaches meeting at 5:00pm at the Big Spring High School Auditorium.
MANDATORY COACHES MEETING:
5:00pm in the Big Spring High School Auditorium. Anyone not attending the meeting will be fined $100.00 per team. Light refreshments will be served.
STARTING BOXES:
Box draw will be conducted by the NCAA committee rep. prior to the coaches meeting
RULES:
Cross Country rules as specified in the NCAA Cross Country and Track & Field Rules Book
UNIFORMS:
The NCAA uniform rules will be enforced and athletes will be checked at the starting line.
RESULTS and TIMING:
Motion Timing will be responsible for meet timing and results: Electronic bar code bib tags will be used and all athletes must wear these tags in order to be included in race results.
RESTROOMS:
Big Spring High School locker rooms and restrooms may be utilized. Numerous portable restrooms will be available near the starting line and parking area.
AWARDS PRESENTATION:
USTFCCCA awards presentation will begin as close to 1:00pm as possible. It will be conducted outside weather permitting and in the high school gymnasium if necessary.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In case of inclement weather, student athletes and coaches may use the high school cafeteriaor gymnasium in the High School. Please be prepared to deal with adverse weather conditions.
COURSE INSPECTION:
The course is available for preview on Friday, November 9th from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

PARKING:
Plenty of parking is available on site at the high school. Parking attendants will direct the team buses and vans to designated parking areas. Spectator parking charge will be $2.00 per automobile.
LOCKER ROOMS
Teams are welcome to use the locker rooms at Big Spring High School for showers.
SPORTS MEDICINE:
Janelle Nolt and Trey McNamee of Dickinson College will serve as the official athletic trainers for the championships. Teams with special needs should contact them as soon as possible to make all necessary arrangements.

A Training Room will be set up at the High School and is easily accessible from the start and finish lines.
Water and Ice will be provided for you at your site of competition. Because of the event taking place at this location, no other modalities will be available. Please call in advance if your team will not be traveling with an athletic trainer.
OFFICIAL RESULTS:
Complete Individual and team results will be posted on the Dickinson web site by Charlie McGuire as soon as possible after the meet. Sports Information Directors with additional needs should forward those requests to Charlie.
