22ndANNUAL ST. WALBURG WILD BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL, SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 2010

This is one of the finest festivals in the Province of Saskatchewan. Friday evening starts off the event with an Ethnic Supper and Old Time Dance at the St. Walburg Parish Centre; tickets are available at the door. Saturday includes a large open air market for crafts, art, garden market items, food vendors and great live entertainment. There is also a pancake breakfast beginning at 08:00am, a Show and Shine and games for the kids. These activities are held outdoors on the streets of St. Walburg. The Festival Market runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. A dinner and talent night held at the Elks Hall ends off the day; advance tickets are required for this event. The Festival draws several thousand attendees so it’s a great venue to showcase and sell your wares!

Check out the Town of St. Walburg Website at for complete details.

REGULATIONS:

Space rental is $40 for approximately 14' x 10’ of space on the street.

Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that is does not matter if you have been a vendor in the past for one year or many years – this does not give you preference over new vendors - in fairness to everyone who wants to be part of the Blueberry Fest all registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. YOU MUST GET YOUR REGISTRATION FORM IN EARLY – DO NOT DELAY – MAIL IT BACK AS SOON AS YOU GET IT. Deadline for registration is August 1, 2010 or when all spaces have been sold, whichever comes first. All entries must be prepaid. Please make cheque payable to “St. Walburg Chamber of Commerce”. Confirmation of registration will be mailed.

If you wish to have a table provided for you, there is an extra charge of $15.00/table. (Maximum 2 tables/space). The deadline to book a table to go in your space is August 1st. These must be anchored down with sand bags, kitty litter bags, etc. Nailing into pavement is prohibited.

You will find the “Vendor’s Entrance” on First Avenue just west of Maple Ridge Service. Please note there is only one entrance. We will be available at approximately 7:00 a.m. to show you to your allotted space. The final space allotments will not be done until the night before so please, please, please, do not ask in advance what space number you have – you will be informed of your space number when you arrive.

When setting up, all vehicles must be off the streetby 9:00 a.m. We request that you do not begin selling before 9:30 a.m. This will enable all participants to set up and get their vehicle off the street before we begin.

All bakingcontaining blueberries must indicate whether ‘wild’ or ‘tame’ blueberries were used.
