2010 DWNA-VDW MEET AND GREET SCHEDULE

This seminar is for Wachtelhund owners as well as anyone else interested in finding out more about the DWNA-VDW Club and VDW breeding and testing requirements. There will be hands on training for VDW Hunt Tests and demonstrations of the intermediated Versatile Ability (EP) hunt test.Wachtelhund owners may enter their Wachtelhund into the EP hunt tests events.This will be a mock test more for owner training than actual Ability Testing.

Also, WI ruff grouse season begins 18 September. Those wishing to say longer and do some ruff grouse hunting are welcomed to say. The NicoletNational Forest has miles of grouse walking trails. Trails start in Laona, WI; 30 miles from my house. I will provide maps of grouse walking trails for those staying to grouse hunt. WI DNR:

(Hunt tests are optional, fees include purchase of required animals)

Early registration is recommended if you want to work your dog. We have plenty of room for everyone but the workshop is limited to 20 dogs entered in any or all events. All Wachtelhunds are welcomed.

Lodging:Our home as a walk out basement with complete apartment; bedroom, living room with couch and kitchen. Also we have a 5th wheel camper available to the first families registering. We have a study with futon for someone to sleep on. These are free of charge.

We also have room for campers, if you wish to bring yours. We will provide electric and water.
