EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women
EY has been running Entrepreneurial Winning Women, a customised leadership development programme, internationally since 2008.
This executive leadership programme identifies a select group of high potential women entrepreneurs whose businesses show real potential to upscale – and helps them do it.
Eligibility
Woman business owners who are the founder or founding partner of a privately-held company.
The venture must be less than 10 years old and have a minimum of NZ$1million in annualsales in the last 2 years.
The cost for this two day programme is NZ$2,000 + gst. There are scholarships available so if you want to apply for one of these or even if you do not meet the qualifying criteria and would still like to attend just tell us why.
Criteria and selection
Entrepreneurial Winning Women will be expected to demonstrate the necessary qualities to take the fullest advantage of this opportunity, including ambitious company growth goals, energy, creativity, entrepreneurial purpose and passion.
Applicants must have the confidence, conviction, tenacity, plan and overall professional acumen to take a high-potential business and scale it into a market leader.
Additionally, Entrepreneurial Winning Women should have the maturity and level of business sophistication needed to interact effectively with potential investors, high-level business advisors and top executives.
Applications will be reviewed by an independent panel representing successful entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders. The judges will select up to 20 Entrepreneurial Winning Women.

Submission
Applications need to be submitted by midday 14 February 2018. These will be reviewed by EY and up to 20 Entrepreneurial Winning Women will be selected and notifiedby no later than close of business 19 February 2018.

The photo will be used for reference and production purposes related to the applicant’s progression within the programme and for publicity purposes if selected.

Use of information— I understand that the information and materials provided in this application will be used by Ernst & Young Group Limited and its affiliates and other member firms of EY Global Limited and their affiliatessupporters/mentors and collaborating organisations (as regards non-financial information) and the panel of independent judges for purposes of evaluating the application and creating a press release if I am selected to be one of the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women. I consent to the use of such information for these purposes and hereby confirm and represent that I have obtained any and all authorisations or waivers required in order for EY, sponsors and judging panels to review and utilise applicant-provided information and materials in connection with the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme. Confidentiality – I agree that any information which is disclosed to me or my company as a result of my participation in the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme, including but not limited to information concerning the business or clients of Ernst & Young Group Limited and its affiliates and other member firms of EY Global Limited and their affiliates, shall be kept confidential. I will not disclose any such information to any other person without the prior written consent of Ernst & Young Group Limited, except as required by law.
Release — In consideration of my participation in the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme, on behalf of myself and my heirs, executors and administrators, I hereby release and forever discharge Ernst & Young Group Limited and its affiliates, and the member firms of EY Global Limited and their affiliates, and the partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns of each of the foregoing entities from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any nature arising out of or in any way connected with any information or materials submitted in connection with this application or with my participation in the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme, including any events, ceremonies, or promotional activities related thereto.
Limitation of liability — In no event will Ernst & Young Group Limited and its affiliates, the member firms of EY Global Limited and their affiliates or theirpartners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns be liable to me, the company or any affiliates (or any respective successors or permitted assigns) for any consequential, incidental or indirect damages (including loss of profits, data, business or goodwill) in connection with the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme, whether or not liability is based on breach of contract, tort, strict liability, breach of warranty or otherwise, and even if Ernst & Young Group Limited or the panel of independent judges is advised of the likelihood of such damages. Our total liability to you will be limited to two (2) times the fees paid by you to Ernst & Young Group Limited or its affiliates for entering the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme.
Disputes — If there is any dispute relating to this agreement or my participation in the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women programme, both parties agree to submit to mediation before having recourse to any other dispute resolution process. The mediation will be conducted in accordance with the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ) Guidelines and the parties will use their best endeavours to settle the dispute promptly.
Governing Law – this agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. The parties both agree and irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.
