A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, RELATING TO SEASONS, BAG LIMITS, METHODS OF TAKE AND SPECIAL USE RESTRICTIONS ON WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS; USE OF FERTILITY CONTROL OR OTHER CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES IN WILDLIFE, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4042, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION1.The regulations of the Department of Natural Resources, relating to seasons, bag limits, methods of take and special use restrictions on Wildlife Management Areas; use of fertility control or other chemical substances in wildlife, designated as Regulation Document Number 4042, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION2.This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

These regulations amend Chapter 12340, 12351 and 12352 in order to set seasons, bag limits and methods of hunting and taking of wildlife on existing and additional Wildlife Management Areas and Chapter 12355 in order to clarify the use of fertility control or other chemical substances in wildlife.
