STATEMENT

My name is Katelnd and I have a broad experience in film and performing arts. I have written and directed several short films, plays and some physical/visual theatre works and my interest lies mainly in live performance. I have also done significant work in central Australia with voice acting, directing actors in different languages and casting. Most recently I developed a one hour hybrid puppetry show “The Package” under the Incubator Scheme through Red Hot Arts Central Australia and with the support of Arts NT. The show was performed as part of the Alice Desert Festival official program 2014, underwent further development in 2015 with presentation at Araluen Arts Centre and then at NT Writers Festival 2016 (Brown’s Mart Theatre) and most recently at Adelaide Fringe 2017 (Bakehouse Theatre). I am currently developing a children’s show using a similar format.
