Congratulations! You are an official member of the 2015 Princess Anne Middle School football team. You have proven outstanding work ethic and ability. Attached you will find the rules and expectations for all team members. Please review them carefully as you will be expected to strictly adhere to the rules and expectations. Remember, academics come first. You are also a role model for your peers and a representative of Princess Anne Middle School. Both you and a parent/guardian will need to provide a signature. The form is due back to Coach Arnett by Friday, September 11th, 2015. You should be proud of yourself! We are looking forward to a productive and successful season.

2015 PAMS Football Expectations/Contract

Academics:

·  Academics must come FIRST.

·  You must maintain no less than a “C” average. Progress reports

will be checked during the season on October 8th.

·  Any team member who falls below a “C” will provide the coaches with documentation demonstrating that they are getting extra help/completing extra credit work to improve their grade(s).

·  All class work and homework will be completed in a

timely manner.

·  All must behave appropriately at all times during

instruction/school day. Team members will be suspended from practice and a game for the first incident. If a second incident occurs, the team member may be asked to leave the team.

Practice:

·  Team members are expected to be dressed and on time for every practice by 4:00 P.M. Attend will be taken at each practice.

·  Members are expected to participate in all aspects of practice, including stretching and warm-up exercises.

·  All team members are expected to attend all practices.

·  Team members are required to notify the coaches prior to an expected absence or must provide them with a parent note/email after an absence.

·  Any unexcused missed practice will result in sitting out of the next game.

Games:

·  All team members are expected to attend all games.

·  Team members are expected to use proper sportsmanship and etiquette both on and off the field at all times. Any infraction will result in sitting out of the next game or team suspension.

·  Team members are expected to support the team the entire game.

·  Team members are expected to clean up the bench area at home and at away games.

·  During home games, everyone should participate in cleaning up the field. Attendance will be taken at the end of the game. If a team member chooses to leave early without prior approval, then they will be suspended from practice and the next game.

·  At away games, parents must notify the coach before departing with their child. Attendance will be taken on the bus when leaving Princess Anne Middle and when leaving the host site.

Conduct:

·  Team members are required to maintain and uphold the

reputation of Princess Anne Middle School through their

conduct.

·  Team members are required to strictly adhere to all school

rules in and out of the classroom.

·  Team members will make every attempt to ignore negative responses at events and not become involved in such actions themselves.

·  If a team member is assigned detention, they will be suspended from practice and the next match. If detention is assigned the second time, they may be asked to leave the team.

·  If a team member earns ISS or OSS, you may be asked to leave the team.

Attitude:

·  Team members are expected to maintain a positive attitude

towards each other and be supportive.

·  Negative attitudes and comments will not be tolerated.

·  In order to be successful, we must respect and support each other even if we disagree.

Parents:

*Please remember to check out with the coaches at away games. We take attendance and your child’s safety very seriously.
