AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 890 OF 1976, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE HOLLY SPRINGS VOLUNTEER FIRE DISTRICT IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE DISTRICT TO THE “HOLLY SPRINGS FIRERESCUE DISTRICT”.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Name change

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 890 of 1976, as last amended by Act 265 of 1981, is further amended to read:

“Section 1. The name of the Piedmont Rural Fire District in Spartanburg County, created by Act 1958 of 1972, is changed to the Holly Springs FireRescue District.”

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 5th day of June, 2008.

Approved the 11th day of June, 2008.
