Mining Machinery Factory “PIOMA” S.A. in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland – Logistics Department. The factory is one of the biggest in Poland and employs almost 2000 people. Apart from mining machinery the factory is a sub-supplier of heavy steel constructions for oil&gas, cement, energy and metallurgy industries.

Main duties that require direct English translations:
- Negotiating terms and conditions of contracts for materials supply with foreign vendors;
- Supervising project related deliveries within “just in time” approach from international locations;
- Development of ISO 1999:2000 process oriented procedures as well as implementation of requirements that meet EU directives regulations; supervising quality audits and periodic assessment of vendors;
- Coordination of transport activities locally and internationally;
- Review and process claims against suppliers;
- Cooperation with Marketing department in developing new business relations with customers from United States, Australia and other countries.

- Prepare manuals, procedures, instructions and other technical documentation;
- Translate technical documentation notes into English or Polish languages;
- Maintain ASMI, ASME, AWS American standards files as well as PN, PN-ISO and branch standards issues;
- Cooperation of promotion related tasks i.e. technical conference liaison;
- Special tasks in Beloit’s European (Beloit Walmslay in Bolton, UK) and US sites within large, international projects.
- Consecutive translations during trainings conducted by US representatives in Poland.
