A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO WELCOME INTO THE WORLD MADELINE ANNE MARTIN, DAUGHTER OF JOHN AND CASEY MARTIN OF COLUMBIA, AND TO WISH HER GOOD HEALTH, IMMENSE HAPPINESS, AND EVERY SUCCESS IN THE WORLD AS SHE EMBARKS ON HER LIFE JOURNEY.

Whereas, Madeline Anne Martin was born March 1, 2005, at 10:57 a.m. to proud parents, John and Casey Martin; and

Whereas, born at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, the new Miss Martin weighed seven pounds, seven ounces and measured nineteen and onefourth inches in length; and

Whereas, Madeline Anne is also greeted by maternal grandparents, Weldon and Lillian Bonds, and paternal grandfather, Foster Martin. She will surely be watched over by her late paternal grandmother, Anne Martin; and

Whereas, Madeline joins cousins, Sarah and Kate Martin, daughters of uncle and aunt, Tom and LuAnne Martin, and she is already adored by her doting aunt, Lindsey Bonds; and

Whereas, John and Casey Martin have many aspirations for their first born and hope she will follow in their footsteps to graduate from the University of South Carolina Honors College; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina are pleased to recognize Madeline Anne Martin as a new daughter of South Carolina and look forward to hearing great things about her life in the future. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, welcome into the world Madeline Anne Martin, daughter of John and Casey Martin of Columbia, and wish her good health, immense happiness, and every success in the world as she embarks on her life journey.
