Women’s Basketball: Lady Dons To Host Shoot-A-Thon

SANTA ANA, CA – The 2004-05 Santa AnaCollege women’s basketball team will be hosting a fundraising shoot-a-thon on Saturday, November 13 at noon in Cook Gymnasium at Santa AnaCollege, 1530 W. 17th St., Santa Ana.

Members of this year’s team will attempt 100 field goals worth two points. Following a made field goal the player will attempt a lay-up worth one point, for a maximum of 300 points. The number of total points will be multiplied by the pledge amount to determine the total donation. Individuals can support the 2004-05 Santa AnaCollege women’s basketball team by sponsoring one or more players by pledging $1, 50 cents or 10 cents per point or by making a flat donation. Money raised from the shoot-a-thon will help the women’s basketball team with their general expenses.
