2014 Bloomer Cross Country Invitational

WHERE: Three Lakes Ski Trail - Southeast of Bloomer

·  Directions are given below.

RACE TIMES: 4:30 p.m. Middle School Boys and Girls

5:00 p.m. Boys (5,000 M)

5:30 p.m. Girls (5,000 M)

·  We will be running the race as a time trial with no designation of Varsity or JV. The first five runners in for a team determine their team score.

ENTRY FEE: Boys $40 Girls $40 Both $75

No charge for middle school runners.

ENTRIES: Entries will be done using www.pttiming.com.

Entries will be OPEN online until 11:59am, September 7th.

There is a $50 late fee to have the entry system reopened after the deadline.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1)  One team trophy will be awarded for each race.

2)  Individual medals will be awarded to the top 10 in each race.

3)  Ribbons will be awarded to places 11-20 in both races, and to the top 10 in the middle school races.

4)  Please instruct your runners and spectators to help pick up after themselves and to keep the grounds free of trash. Our future use of this facility depends on how well we keep things clean as it is not a school-owned course.

5)  Presentation of team and individual awards will take place immediately following the Boys’ race near the finish line.

DIRECTIONS TO THREE LAKES SKI TRAIL:

Coming off Highway 53, take exit number 110, which is the Highway 40 exit, into Bloomer. When you reach the bridge just past the high school, take a right onto Main Street. Travel two (2) blocks and turn left onto 18th Avenue. When you reach the stop sign, turn right onto Martin Rd. This is also County Highway SS. Stay on SS until you reach 110th Street. Turn right onto 110th street and then take a left onto 165th Avenue. The Three Lakes Ski Trail will be on the right just after you go over the first hill. Parking will be available in the field adjacent to the road.
