(2)New Identification and Admission of Children of 2-5 Years

Quarterly report on tribal children development programme for the period APRILL 1ST TO END OF JUNE 2008 submitted by IRDMS

We take this opportunity to present you the three months report on tribal Children education development Programme for the period 1st April 2008 to June 2008

(1)Staff Training :

As an ongoing activity , we have organized 2 days refresher course on early childhood education .All the 10 teachers along with the supervisor took part in this training programme . All the teachers interact with each other and discuss about the problems and solutions of the children .All the teachers focus on mode of teaching is in own tribal language and give priority over interest of the each individual child .Supervisor point out regularity ,Punctuality should be maintain by teachers.

(2)New Identification and admission of children of 2-5 years:

IRDMS we have already started identifying children to replace those who will leaving to join the primary school in April 2008.

(3)Maintenance of Attendance Register:

From the regular maintenance of the Attendance Register in 10 center by the respective teacher , it is observed that 95% of children on an average attended the centers.Superviser of the programme visit regularly to each center.

(4)Preparation of play Articles :

IRDMS supervisor prepared play articles through all 10 center teachers . With joy ful learning all the teachers teach as per the psychology of student.

(5)Implementation of the syllabus :

Supervisor of IRDMS give instruction to all the teachers fallow the syllabus of govt of orissa education Deptt guidelines

(6)Review Meeting for the Staff :

On every Saturday , the weekly review meeting is conducted on supervision of Superviser. The punctuality and the attendance of children and staff , the maintenance of the stock register , the health status of children , participation of parents in the programme, complaints if any are some of the main subjects discussed during the review meeting .Dr Prasanta Senapati ,Programme Manager take monthly review metting from April 2008.

7)Health Camp

IRDMS organized two days health camp, Five center organized in one day another five center another Day. Dr A. K Das, Medicine Specilist lead the health camp.97 children participate the health camp. The prevalent ailments are ache, scabies, diarrhea and vomiting. After the camp Dr Das counseling to all parents regarding health care of child..

(8)Conduct of parents Meeting and Parents Participation(VEC) :

This meeting is organization once in a months. So far 3 meetings were conducted during the period . All the parents share their problem and give proposal modification of any activities
