Applications are invited for the following posts from Pakistani citizens of NWFP/FATA domiciled by 13-08-2008 (28-08-2008 for candidates from abroad).

1.Thirty Eight (38) temporary posts of Civil Judges-Cum-Judicial Magistrates/ Alaqa Qazis.

Qualification:-Should possess a degree in law from a recognized University entitling him/ her to practice the profession of Law or is a Barrister of England or Ireland or is a Member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland. [Rule-7]

Allocation:-As per policy of the Provincial Government for districts of Mansehra, Battagram, Shangla, Kohistan & Abbottabad.

General Conditions

The candidates are required to be academically qualified in all respects by 13-08-2008. Any candidate who does not possess the required qualification by the material date will not be considered. Govt: servants having rendered four years service shall be allowed Ten years relaxation in upper age limit or to the extent of service rendered whichever is less. In the case of Barrister or an Advocate of the High Court and / or the Courts subordinate thereto or a Pleader, the period during which he/ she practiced at the Bar, shall for the purpose of upper age limit under this rule, be excluded, subject to a maximum period of three years from his/ her age. In the case of a person whose service under Government has been terminated for want of vacancy, the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years or equal to the period of his/ her actual service upto its termination whichever is less. Two years optimum relaxation shall be allowed each to Disabled persons and candidates from backward areas of Zone-1, Zone-3, Merged Areas of Hazara and Mardan Divisions and uper Tanawal, Districts of Swat, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Chitral, Buner, Kala Dhaka Area, Kohistan District , Shangla, Gadoon Area in Swabi, Backward areas of Mansehra and Batagram, backward areas of Haripur District i.e., Kalanjar Field Kanungo Circle of Tehsil Haripur and Amazai Field Kanungo Circle of Tehsil Ghazi.However, only one age concession is allowed to the candidates claiming concession under various categories whichever is more beneficial to them. The candidates claiming age concession under government service shall have to fill in the required page appended with the Syllabus and attach the same with the application form duly signed by the competent authority. The candidates will also send their option form for Urdu or Pushto Papers available in the Syllabus. The Applications not accompanied by the age concession certificate shall be liable to rejection.

The candidates are required to apply on the prescribed application form obtainable alongwith the Syllabus from the listed below branches of the NATIONAL BANK. The Application Fee is Rs.285/- (Rs. Two Hundred & Eighty Five Only) for all candidates. In addition to application fee, the candidates will have to pay Rs.15/- on account of Bank Charges. Application Form obtained other than the specified branches of the National Bank will be considered invalid and such applications will not be entertained. The applications on plain paper or photo stat shall not be accepted. Incomplete and late applications shall also be ignored. Applications must be submitted within the stipulated time as no extra time is allowed for postal transit. Applications if submitted on the last date must reach the Commission’s Office by the closing hours.

Ex-armed Forces Personnel must send copy of Discharge Certificate with their applications. Govt:/ Semi-Govt/ Autonomous/ Semi-Autonomous Bodies employees may apply direct but their departmental permission certificates should reach the Commission Office within 30 days of the closing date. Government reserves the right to fill or not to fill any post. Persons married to foreign Nationals can be considered only on production of relaxation orders from the Government. The Zonal and Merit Quotas shall be strictly followed in the allocation of seats. No zonal reservation stands for posts allocated to disable and female quota except posts appearing at Sr.No.5. These shall be filled in on open merit.

Ineligibility:-Candidates who have already availed three chances in any of the specified examination or a total of four chances in all the examinations shall not be eligible:-

a)Combined Examination for recruitment to the post of Extra Assistant Commissioners, Section Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Excise & Taxation Officers.

b)Examination to the post of Civil Judges

c)Examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests.

Note:-

1.Candidates will be admitted to the examination provisionally at their own risk subject to be found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications after the written examination is over, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under the rules for the examination, his/ her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the examination or qualified therein. To avoid frustration the candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before appearing in the examination that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules relating to the examination.

2.Candidates applying against disable quota must attach with their application form a disability certificate from Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled persons as well as disability certificate from the respective Medical Superintendent/ Medical Board showing therein the specific disability.

3.Separate application forms will be required for each Serial No. of posts. The candidates are advised to write down in their application form a correct serial no of post to which they desire to apply failure of which their applications will be considered for Serial No.1.
