We Welcome Pastor Carlton Smith!
Pastor Carlton is our new
East Side Director
I am excited to be joining the staff of Love INC of Cuyahoga County. Having been aware of Love INC since its beginning here in our county, I have watched this ministry with increasing interest in recent years.
The uniqueness of this partnership, bringing together and strengthening the body of Christ's abilities to meet crisis and service needs of its members, while at the same time allowing churches to focus on the spiritual needs of those same members, portrays a more accurate and balanced reflection of Christ Himself.
Of particular interest and excitement to me is the expansion of Love INC on the eastside of Cuyahoga County. Given our long history of separation, especially racially, in the Greater Cleveland area, it is gratifying to see and be a part of His bringing together His body in such a God honoring way. The impact of our increasing unity on the practical lives of so many within the body of Christ is a tangible manifestation of the love of Christ.
The staff, volunteers, and board members of Love INC are all individuals of exemplary devotion to Christ and His kingdom and I am humbled and grateful to be able to join their ranks.
If one, according to the scriptures, puts a thousand to flight and two puts ten thousand to flight, then we are indeed seeing the beginning of a powerful new phase of the expansion of God's kingdom here in Cuyahoga County. Love INC plays a vital role in that expansion.
Annual Meeting Update
By Janice Cepulo, Executive Director
Love INC of Cuyahoga had their Annual meeting on Tuesday April 21, 2015. It was hosted by Warrensville Community Baptist Church. It was WONDERFUL!!! The hospitality provided by the church and the breakfast they cooked were heaven sent. Thank you to Pastor Walker, Carolyn Oden and staff.
We had almost sixty people in attendance.Pastors were talking, catching up and sharing ideas. There were actually East and West side pastors talking with each other. Our Board President, Diane Artman, shared from Revelation 22:1-2. (See below.)
It all ended with a word of prayer from our new East Side Director, Pastor Carlton Smith.
The River of Life
By Diane Artman, Board President
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city. On either side of the river is the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, producing its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22: 1-2
God gave us the vision to be Love INC for all of Cuyahoga County a few years ago. We have begun to increase awareness of Love INC and now have nearly 20 east side churches!
As I was preparing for our annual meeting, I asked God to give me a word. He put Revelation 22:1-2 in my mind, specifically highlighting the river flowing from the throne.I began to research the Cuyahoga River and discovered it was the source of division between the East and West side of Cleveland, culminating in the Great Bridge War in 1836.
The Lord showed me in Revelation that the river of life flows from the throne, with the tree of life on either side of the river. He showed me how the churches are like the tree of life, on the east and west side of the river. They will bring healing and salvation to the nations, the people of Cleveland. So, the river that caused division in Cleveland will be a source of unification through the churches!! Praise God!

Love and Compassion
Dear Love INC,
How can I thank you adequately for all you did for my family?
The stress we have been under for 6 months has been unbearable due to the lack of work with my husband's business.
I have sought help from agencies and heard so many "no's" that I often felt hopeless and discouraged. Your kindness and compassiontowards us did so much for me personally, it gave me fresh hope.
Thank you for putting Jesus's love and compassion into practice.
Gratefully,
A Family of 8
