5th Sept- Ultimate Frisbee. Allocation of sixes for new cubs and naming of new sixersand seconders.
12th Sept-Fitness. Tonight we begin the Fitness Challenge. Come wearing your running kit and be ready for a
Bagheera style work out. Bleep test, circuits and taking your pulse.
19th Sept- Fitness. Based on your performance last week you will be putting your own personal fitness
programme for you to work on at home. Uniform
26th Sept-Fitness. Trying a new sport. Tonight you will be trying your hand at break dancing with an expert
from China.
3rd Oct- Senses night. Tonight you will be testing you five senses through a set of challenges. We will also
be testing to see if your fitness has improved since 12th Sept.
10th Oct- Fitness. Trying a new sport. Fencing. Uniform but make sure you are wearing trainers.
17th Oct-Fitness. Orienteering. Meet and pick up from outside Asquiths in Ilkley main car park normal time
and be ready to run.
24th Oct-Chef. Tonight we will be learning about hygiene in the kitchen, different methods of cooking and also
we will be learning about different food groups.
31st Oct- Half term, no meeting.
7th Nov-Chef. Tonight you will be researching and designing some backwoods cooking for next week.
14th Nov-Chef. Backwoods cooking at the hut. Remember to bring your ingredients for your idea.
21st Nov-Night hike. Meet and pick up from the bottom junction to Keighley Gate road. If it looks like a dark
night bring your torch.
28th Nov-Chef. Tonight you will be creating and tasting some dishes from India with Ann-Marie.
5th Dec-Chef. Tonight you are going to create your own pizza to take home and cook. Bring topping
ingredients to create the most amazing pizza in the world.
12th Dec- Chef. Tonight you will be making a crumble to take home for your family. Bring whatever mix of
fruit you want, you will need the equivalent of two medium apples.
19th Dec-Christmas outing. Ten Pin Bowling in Skipton. Meet and pick up from Matrix Bowling in Skipton,
Sandlylands business park, Carleton Newroad. Notice will be given out 5th Dec.
This terms badges are The Fitness Challenge and The Chef Badge, to gain these badges you need to attend all the nights marked. For The Chef Badge you also need to make some baking at home and bring it in for the pack, details to follow. All meetings are at the scout hut starting at 6:30 and finishing at 8:00 unless indicated otherwise in the programme.
