Fratz 2018 Fantasy Golf
Once again, it is the time of year when you must choose your fantasy team for the upcoming PGA Tour season. This year will be just like last year, in that the winner will be determined by the FedEx Cup points. The cost is still $25 per team, and there are again four “A” groups. So, you only get ONE A1 player, regardless of who you select. Everyone gets ONE A2 player, ONE A3 player AND ONE A4 player. Just as in years past, select 2 players from each of the other groups “B” through “E”. Once you have selected your team, simply watch the tournaments each week and cheer for your team! The scoring is based on the FedEx Cup points for the player NOT earnings! We do NOT use the FedEx reset points! All points earned are added to the year-end total! This year, the PGA Tour season starts with the Safeway Open, October 5, 2017 and ends with the TOUR Championship on September 23, 2018. For guys who have played in FedEx Cup eligible tournaments since the 2017 Tour Championship, you WILL get the points they have earned. They have been moved up accordingly if they have earned a good number of points already.

Last year, collecting money went pretty well, so make sure to get your money in by March 1 to remain in the pool, and please send me a check, or via PayPal ($26 for PayPal due to extra charges)to . Also, I encourage you to send your team via e-mail to and send a check or pay via PayPal later. Your entry must be postmarked (e-mail marked) by January 5, 2018. In order to keep you informed of who wins the majors, include your e-mail address on your entry if you mail it back, so I can contact you on the majors. The updates will be posted to the web site: Feel free to share this with anyone you would like, since the more players we get, the more places we pay at the end of the season, but I will cut it off at the first 200 entries to pay. Payouts are going to stay the same for this year. We will give 50% to the winners of the regular season FedEx Cup Standings; 30% to the teams with the most points combining the regular season points with the last 4 FedEx Cup tournaments points; and 20% to the teamswho do the best for all 4 majors. The number of places paid is directly related to how many players we have. The more players, the more places paid out across the board. Don’t forget that the LAST place person plays for free next year. Well, here are the categories and good luck!
