RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK DECLARATION

- A passport showing you are a British subject.
- A national identity card or a passport which identifies you as a national of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.

- A Biometric Immigration Document issued by the UK Border Agency to you indicating that you are allowed to stay indefinitely in the UK.
- A passport or other travel document endorsed to show that you are exempt from immigration control, are allowed to stay indefinitely in the UK, have the right of abode in the UK, or have no time limit on your stay in the UK.
Documents 7 – 10 below are acceptable only if produced in combination with an official document, issued by a government agency or a previous employer, giving your national insurance number and your name.
- An Immigration Status Document issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency to you with an endorsement indicating that you are allowed to stay indefinitely in the UK.
- Your full birth certificate or adoption certificate issued in the UK, the Channel Islands or Ireland, that includes the name(s) of at least one of your parents/adoptive parents.
- Your certificate of registration or naturalisation as a British subject.
- A letter issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency to you that indicating that you are allowed to stay indefinitely in the UK.
LIST B
A passport or travel document endorsed to show that you are allowed to stay in the UK and allowed to do the type of work in question, provided that it does not require the issue of a work permit.
- A Biometric Immigration Document issued by the UK Border Agency to you that indicates that you can stay in the UK and are allowed to do the work in question.
- A work permit or other approval to take employment, issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency. This must be produced in combination with either a passport or another travel document endorsed to show that you are allowed to stay in the UK and allowed to do the work in question, or a letter issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency to you confirming that you are allowed to do the work in question.
- A certificate of application issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency stating that you are permitted to take employment. The certificate of application must be less than six months old and produced in combination with evidence of verification by the UK Border Agency Employer Checking Service.
- A residence card or document issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency to a family member of a national of an EEA country or Switzerland.
- An Application Registration Card issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency stating that you are permitted to take employment. This must be produced in combination with evidence of verification by the UK Border Agency Employer Checking Service.
- An Immigration Status Document issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency to the holder with an endorsement indicating that you can stay in the UK, and are allowed to do the type of work in question. This must be produced in combination in with an official document, issued by a government agency or a previous employer, giving your national insurance number and your name.
- A letter issued by the Home Office or the UK Border Agency to the holder or the employer or prospective employer that indicates that the person named in it can stay in the UK and is allowed to do the work in question. This must be produced in combination with an official document, issued by a government or a previous employer, giving your national insurance number and your name.
