Section 16445
Industrial Air Circuit Breaker
2000-06-01Distribution Centres

Use this Section to specify requirements for industrial air circuit breaker distribution centres for projects where the ampacity of the building service is:

.11200Amperes or larger at 120/208/240 volts,

.2800Amperes or larger at 277/480 volts,

.3800Amperes or larger at 347/600 volts.

Where fault levels at service entrance are in excess of 50,000Amperes symmetrical, fuses may be required for current limiting.

Include Section 16215 - Utility Metering when this Section is used.
