My duties are looking after the daily electrical maintenance as per the computerized, (RMS) JD edwar, Protective Maintenance Programs (PM), of (Global Santafe Transocean) Shelf Drilling 105&141Key Singapore andPyramid Company on Pennevis Rig Jake UP Rigs off shoreCorp.

We also adhere to a strict Permit to work and isolation, system in safety a conscious environment.

Type of work:

I have over the past 15 years gained experience of repair and maintenance of the following equipment.

-I have good background about line diagram [control circuit]

-Repair and proper maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous areas, maintaining flame paths, Proper cable gland selection etc.

- Repair and Troubleshooting of A/C motors and associated control gear.

- Repair and Troubleshootingof DC motors 752 GE and controller for Mud pump, Draw works, Rotary table and Top Drive including stripping and overhauling.

- Repair and Troubleshootingof LE-Torneau (Marathon Crane) A/C motors ,MG set and control gear, including LE Torneau Cranes.

- Repair ACTroubleshootingand recovery procedures of Carrier air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

- MSA gas alarms and associated sensors, and some experience of calibrating same.

- Repair and Troubleshootingof GAI-Tronics communication, PA system, plus TV sat systems and adjust internet connection.

-Troubleshooting power and control for air compressor units.

Troubleshooting PLC for Top Drive & DAQ for Rig Sense system.

_ Install and repair the CCTV system.

-Troubleshooting KEMS.

-Troubleshooting Elmagco Electrical brake, Elmagco Battery Back up and repair for coils.

- I have also been involve in rig upgrade shipyard work which involved stripping out and re-wiring on a larger Scale than the usual day to day duties on the rig.
