§ Student handbooks are now available on our website. Teachers are spending time throughout the next couple of weeks reviewing expectations, but please read through the handbook with your child.
§ WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) plays an important role at Olympic View Elementary. WATCH D.O.G.S. provides a positive male role model for students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. This program also enhances school security. To learn more and get involved, please attend our WATCH D.O.G.S. Pizza Night on October 2nd at 6:30 pm in the gym.

Counselor’s Corner
As your family gets back into the rhythm of fall routines, it may be helpful to talk about transitions ahead of time with your child. Here’s an example, “Today, you are going to have cold lunch, and grandma will pick you up from parent pick-up. I will see you after I get off from work at 6:00 p.m.” It may seem like a small gesture, but it can make a big difference.
