PRIVATE LESSONS
Miss Marion’s School of Dance offers private lessons on a limited basis, depending on the teacher availability, time and studio space.
Solos, duets and trios require a personal commitment from the dancer and parent. Once the dance is taught to the student it is the responsibility of the student to practice on a regular basis.
PAYMENTS FOR PRIVATE LESSONS MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE TO THE OFFICE AND THE ACCOUNT MUST BE UP TO DATE ON MONTHLY STATEMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The student will be provided an index card marked paid which is to be given to the teacher at the time of the lesson.
RATES:
· Solo - $450.00 per child for 6 hourly lessons
· Duets - $500.00 ($250.00 per dancer) for 6 hourly lessons
· Trios - $600.00 ($200.00 per child) for 6 hourly lessons
Costumes for private lessons must be paid along with class costumes. $85.00 is due by September 28th.
CONTRACT INFO FOR SOLO, DUETS AND TRIOS
1. Pay in advance before each lesson
2. Students are responsible for practicing on their own after learning the choreography.
3. Students cannot go to competition unless the dance is perfected and approved by the teacher and Ms. Lori.
4. Students cannot change choreography and costume after being approved by Ms. Lori
5. If student is asked to perform at a community event – please be available unless you have notified Ms. Lori that you are unable due to a prior engagement.
Before your child can compete in any competition, it’s up to the teacher’s discretion whether or not your child is prepared to represent our studio. The child has to show the teacher’s they have practiced and are ready to compete.
