WORLD MISSIONSUNDAYis being celebrated today. We remind ourselves that Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all nations, leading all people into knowledge of him. Being missionary is not just the special calling of a few, but the responsibility of all. We ask God to fill us with a renewed desire to make his name known throughout the world. Please give a generous donation in the Second Collection at all Masses this weekend or use one of the Gift Aid Envelopes at the back of Church. The Holy Father in his recent document ‘Sacramentum Caritatis’ said, “Truly, nothing is more beautiful than to know Christ and to make him known to others.”
