·  Led 12-man ship’s control party and executed all ship operations as direct representative to captain

·  Directed 10-man engine room watch team. Managed safe operation of ship’s nuclear power reactor

·  Developed and implemented a method of tracking contacts in coordination with the sea trials escort vessel to improve methods previously recommended on other ships.

·  Personally overhauled the Ship's Safety Program, maintained flawless safety record while on board, and provided the framework for a stagnated program to achieve success in maximizing crew safety.
