The small room came alive this time round with some fabulous tango dancing early on followed by great blues/wcs later in the evening. The main room was busy all night with a varied mix of styles/music rotated through the night. Great to see so many people trying something new. Salsa guys dancing some jive/wcs (+ vice versa), tango dancers dancing some reggae, swing dancers dancing everything......

Kirsty and Anthony provided us with a fabulous tango demo to acouple of pieces of beautiful music. This was apreciated by a very receptive crowd. DECADANCE2 -FRIDAY 22nd FEBRUARY

Wewere very busy despite awcs weekender and a major event in London. Lots of familiar faces from decaDance 1 plus many new people trying us for the first time. Once again we had lots ofvisitors from far away including midlands, bedford, home counties + london. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to support us- it is so appreciated.

There was a really nice party vibe all night. Loads of dancing of course but also lots of socialising, chilling and the highlight for many people a great, authentic blues set from our man Vinny. It takes a special talent to keepa roomful ofavid dancers away from the maindancefloor but Vinny kept them engaged with his great singing, playing and charisma. Some of us even braved a bit of freestyle dancing to his whimsicalstories. The one about the train going up the hill was particularly challenging...!

We hada great decadanceoff with loads of people gettin down to the 'fever' cover versions, some awesomedancing+ musical interpretation all night. Also mustn't forgetLee's birthday (yes we will celebrate and play your requests..). There were plenty of stalwarts who stayed dancing till the end. Then the hardcore breakfast clubmade the short walk round to Buddies for what can only be described as ...all night debauchery.Special mention of course must be made to theoriginal stamina daddy, CerocRichard who manages to stayvaguely sensible despite downing 7 pints and 2 bottles of wine (he wasn't driving!).

Big thanks to allthelocalpromoters for their pre eventsupportand many also attended.Of course a major thanks to the decadolls and decadons for helping the night go smoothly (and wearing their sexy tangobootcamp tshirts!).
