Issue Description:
The following events may be seen in the Event Log:
10.50.09
10.50.10
Solution or Workaround:
These events will be logged when a reset of the maintenance or ADF maintenance counts is performed through the reset supplies menu.
The menu can be found with the following path:
Administration> Resets> Reset Supplies
In addition to being logged when a reset of the counts is performed, the events may also be logged when either of the following conditions is met.
A.) Clearing the Event Log through the Service Menu.
B.) The language is changed on the HP Easy Select Control Panel.
Background Information:
10.50.09 event indicates a New Maintenance Kit
10.50.10 event indicates a New ADF Maintenance Kit
HP is aware that having the event logged during condition A. or B. may be confusing for some Service or Maintenance providers. Because of this, HP may consider addressing this at some time during the products lifecycle.
