Signs that you might be in an abusive relationship: Multiple or constant calls or text messages wanting to know your location or who you are around; Telling you who you can and can’t hang out with or never wanting you to do things without them; Jealousy! This is mistaken for “he/she must really love me” but it can be a sign of control; Telling you what you can or can’t wear; Calling you disrespectful names

Flu Shots for Students have arrived. Those interested must get a form from Nurse Stewart. Quantities are limited.

Lady Dragon Basketball Try-outs will be held on October 21 at4:15 pm. Anyone interested in trying out must have a physical, and must sign up on the door to the girls Coaches office. If you have any questions see Coach Stigall.

The Men’s Basketball team is looking for mature and dependable, male or female, student assistants. Those that fulfill their responsibilities as a Varsity student assistant are eligible to receive a letter jacket. If interested, please see Coach “O” in room #916, or in the basketball office.

Juniors: Please see Mrs. Stanaland if you are interested in spending a week at NASA this summer. This opportunity is for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Men’s Soccer team is selling tamales during the month of October. We will be selling Pork and Chicken tamales for $10 a dozen. See any soccer player to purchase your tamales. Pickup date will be November 20th at the stadium parking lot.

If you are interested in competing in UIL Academics, you should pick up an interest form from your English Teacher or from Mrs. Thomas in room 111.
